The big idea of Hope 08 is to inspire and encourage churches to take part in mission throughout the year of 2008 bringing younger and older Christians together to serve our communities powerfully and effectively.

Horsforth Churches Together will be providing a broad range of events and activities within our local community. The following gives a taster of what we hope to offer this year:

January - Fresh Hope |

A range of activities based around Lent and Easter including:

May and June - "Hope where you live" |
Litter Pick with Horsforth in Bloom (5th July) Horsforth Gala (28th June) |

Summer (29 July - 2 August)

Activities in the park and open spaces culminating in a Fun Afternoon and Barbeque |

September - "Hope Explored" |
The local churches will be offering a range of discipleship courses such as Alpha, Youth Alpha, Essence and One. |

October (31st) - Family Evening of Hope |
An opportunity to fill an evening of dispair with Hope as all the family are invited to a party to celebrate God's goodness. There will be activities for young and old alike, with a quieter space for adults to meet their neighbours and share Tea, Coffee and biscuits. |
